Funny you should mention it. Here's Ricky last evening clearing the remains from my basement.

Did you make that crash guard for the jugs or purchase it from a vendor? Closeups? Links? I just broke some fins off my right jug in a tip over.

I remember seeing them a while back and yeah, they were re-frickin-diculously spendy.

now that I have a pic I'll just head on over to the local M/C customizer and have him bend some up, but I want to be able to pull the valve covers w.o having to remove the whole crash rig. I'll let you know what I find.

bars and other

The bars are not the same as the link above suggests. My bars are german made by krauser if am not mistaken. If i remember well I paid something like 230 dollars then when the dollar was strong. I have also seen them on ebay in germany. They maybe around $300 now. I picked them up in germany together with an extremely large alum tank that i haven't used yet...too many tanks, too many projects...

Find attached some pics from over the pond. Tag still makes these bikes on special order basis. These bikes were built in the mid 80s. Famous were the alum elongated swing arms. New tag bikes have the 1100 swing arm..

then my friend's bike ( he tought me everything I need to know about custom gss). In 2004 He raced the Bmw sponsored 2 cylinder enduro championship in Italy with this bike....

and at the end, find my final beauty (just completed 3 months ago) ready for a potential 2007 tunisian trip

This bike will remain in Europe...
