If the shit hits the fan and I need to get home I'm kicking in some doors and taking what I need. Am I a looter? No I'm desperate.

I don't particularly pack a BOB, or whatever, but since I pretty much never empty shit out of my truck, I'm bound to have most of what I need there anyway

I am not a conspiracy theorist, or paranoid, I just believe in being prepared & like other people who have posted, I have used my EveryDayCarry/Get Home Bag as well. My bag doubles as my lunchbox at work & my book bag (I always have something new I am reading).
**Despite how much it LOOKS like the stuff I carry would fill the bag, it actually all fits in the space where the water bladder goes (approx 2 liter flat space) leaving me the rest of the bag (about 12-13 liters) for normal everyday stuff. My EDC back pack clips onto my travel Northface BackTrack travel backpack & the small pack is designed to fit ANY airline carry-on sizing, so when I travel I still have my EDC stuff (except for the firestarters & blades of course). There is a small First Aid kit in there (just forgot to take a photo). (EDC is part of my travel backpack: ) ![]() ![]() My Bug Out Bag is a different story. Here is a pic - but too much in there to list in a couple minutes. This is also my grab and camp bag - I have enough in there to be completely self sustaining for 4 days to a week (except for more water than I have in there - only carry 3-6 liters in the pack). The sleeping bag is a lightweight fleece lined bag that I strap on with quick straps (just not strapped on at time of pic). Bag : Eberlestock Haltrack (http://www.eberlestock.com/Halftrack%20Backpack.htm ) Total "grab weight" : 37 pounds. ![]() The backpack is a "3 day assault pack". This guy even travelled the world for a year with the same pack -----> http://frysinger.net/packing/

Dood. That's a bit of all right. Might I suggest a grease pencil? I velcro one to the bars of all my bikes and stuff. Anyway.
