I had a great backroads ride from my home...only did about 4 miles of it on 401 as the major rroute taken...love riding this time of day...

Oh no dont tell me.... That one turn was clean today its at the corner of the klew shot so its not usually taken fast...by me at least...dont relish piking up a 730 lb pig...LOL...just love the NC countryside with the bucolic farm settings and rolling terrain with smooth asphalt...add in that i love late afternoon and evening riding and i am high from the ride...oh forgot to mention how sweet the air smells out in the country...whatever it is thats blooming is just smells intoxicating... Oh and May The V4ce Be With You !

The honeysuckle is blooming now. Bet that's what you were smelling.

yep - honeysuckle!

That road - you just have to watch if you are approaching from the north - since that road is an offset T intersection, you get a nice gravel triangular island there just to the left of where you are standing.... so if you lean in and go fast, apex earlier rather than later.... but you'd be slowing down for the tag anyway.

The good news is - the high school down the street is finished so no more boards, nails, and construction crap in the road!

Yes thats it...only thing sweeter to me is the smell of orange blossoms on ornamental orange trees...that was in Tucson Az back in the day...
