And an 06 maxima. Was tired of having a crappy cabrio or a wrangler for "family" vacations.
The last two, we've rented cars for.
I realized something having a 265 hp car.
I speed.

A lot.

Not sure what you mean by "no trailers" on I-40. Done it plenty of times w/dirt bikes.

The ST will fit in the back of my truck if need be.
AND
There are other ways to go east/west than I-40...

Where's it at? Mebane? Might want to wait and see where the ABC tag gets dropped for the ride back. It's moving to Lee County.

Dunno where Lee county is but I'm not interested TYVM...my main goal is that nothing shakes down on the shakedown run home...more than likely it will be after the sun goes down as we're not gonna start until 2 pm tmrw...and without daylight savings time...it'll be dark by 5pm

The ENC tag is in Lenoir too. Could make for a great two-fer. Also, with the ABC Going to Lenoir....the ENC in Lenoir, and the NA heading to Kitty Hawk, the stage seems to be getting set for an awesome multi-tag grab.

Thanks Chad you're too good to me...LOL I'm pretty sure I'll make it home okay...its just that we need to be really carefully re-assembling the bike and to be sure everything is tightened to spec...dont want anything falling off while riding back on I 40 after sundown.

I agree Benny. Need a safe ride home. Especially on 40. Offer is there if you need it. Like I said I hope you don't. You going to meet us for dinner Sunday? In Fayetteville. Check out the Eastern ADV dinner thread c

Houston we have liftoff!!!

AOK all systems go...The SouThern Belle is back on the road...everything is tight and to spec...man does it ever feel good to get back on 2 wheels...Rode the 60 miles home and nary a hiccup. Took 70 back thru Hillsborough out to 85 the back down 147 to 540...to Buffalo Rd exit...I couldnt be happier...and I'm out all of $20 for some o-rings and 5 qts of oil...had the final drive(gear oil)...So maybe now i can find me a tag or 2...
