Hey Steve, that camera worked pretty good, why did you throw it down the road?
I'm pretty sure Canon will be happy to replace it for free. I read the entire owners manual when I got home and it doesn't say anything at all about dropping the camera from a motorcycle at 40 mph. Jeesh, you think the camera could hold up to that.

Seriously - great ride and route today

all of you. Hope to do it again soon. Cody and Stan, hope your trip

This is my friend Tommy. He doesn't wear his seatbelt, or a jacket and gloves for that matter. I thought I had him ATGATT converted when the KLR went down on his leg and I had to lift it off, but no such luck. We both had "incidents", mine involved the kick starter and some mud:(

Nice.....looks like a good ride.

Warning....I've been known to make goofy videos

Me and a couple of my Memphis homers went to Cherokee this weekend for some asphalt/gravel/dirt action. I'm really looking forward to going back. Maybe us locals can get a trip (no, not THAT kind of trip) going up there sometime soon?

Remember.....you're laughing with me....not AT ME

Any size restrictions for the Apr25 or May 9 rides?

I saw in the first batch of pics that all the bikes were like 650s or larger and all I have is a WR250X with knobbies on it.

If either of the rides mentioned above are going to have people riding bikes like mine let me know and I'll make the 3+hr trek over from Memphis to join ya.

Cool. I think I may come over Saturday and get a Hotel room so I don't have to start my day at 0430 just to ensure I'm there on time.

Any recommendations for local accommodations?

Schedule Change!!!

Alrighty guys, had to make a couple changes to the schedule. I still need some help with rides. There is only so much I can come up with without starting to repeat stuff, especially for the all pavement rides. Please let me know if you have anything in the works.

Dirt Events had to be removed from the calendar as the property where the trails are is currently up for sale. I know it sucks, but nothing we can do about it.

The start location for the gravel rides has changed. There is a little pull off on the side of the road 1/10th of a mile from the first dirt road.

Here are the Details.

Leipers Creek Road Pull Off

If coming from Leipers Fork, the pull off is 2.2 miles from Bethel Store on the right. If coming from Highway 7, the pull off is .8 miles from the intersection of Hwy 7 and Leipers Creek Road on the left.

3547'41.44"N
87 9'7.55"W

For those that want to trailer bikes in, please do, I have plenty of room at my house to park, and my wife will be around the house to watch the vehicles. The first dirt road is only 4 miles from my house. It is no inconvenience for me at all.

thirty one twenty seven new highway seven santa fe tn three eight four eight two.

If you are coming in on I-40 from memphis, you could easily find a hotel at exit 172, which is where you would exit to head towards the ride.

You could also drive a little further, and get a hotel in Columbia TN. Richland Inn would probably be the closest hoter to the ride area.

you could even pitch a tent at my house if you wanted.

PM me if you want any more details.
