Me and a couple of my Memphis homers went to Cherokee this weekend for some asphalt/gravel/dirt action. I'm really looking forward to going back. Maybe us locals can get a trip (no, not THAT kind of trip) going up there sometime soon?

I rode a Berg , then I had to sell everything to buy one ! Its a sweet ride . That little DR 400 was ok for a kids bike . It was very smooth , but very weak

I just like alittle more than the 400 has to offer . It was a smooth bike . I could see where it would be a fun ride . I just like the 60 MPH power wheelies After I almost went down on a pavement curve , then blew out 2 curves . I SLOWED DOWN !! The little 400 was rolling , but he had better DS tires .

you could even pitch a tent at my house if you wanted.

PM me if you want any more details.
I've been seeing so many "____ stolen" threads on the different forums I frequent that I may take you up on your offer of some yard space to store my bike overnight on Saturday.

Lemme do some searching on the accomadations you mentioned and I'll PM ya for an address if you're willing to store my bike for a night.

sounds good rat.

The weather forecast isn't looking too good for this weekend. I will post again on Friday with a go/no-go. Hope it works out for us this week. My fingers are crossed that I will see you all on Sunday.

It does not surprise me.....you ride w/ Gooch.

If it's a 60 deg day, I say we ride! Looking at the pics from the last ride, it appears there are plenty of folks that are not afraid to get wet. (another )

I don't know about riding even though it is raining. It is supposed to storm the day before too. The creeks will be dangerously high if we get two days of storms. The deepest crossing could easily be 2 feet deep and swift. That equals a recipie for disaster imo.

cody is right, the first creek we will have to cross after a not so verry big rain, i have seen will most likely be 3 feet deep. thats what it is most of the time after a rain. now thats fun on my atv, but not verry fun on my drz..

well....starting to look more like rain on the weekend. If rain/high waters starts making sundays ride look doubtful....would our guide be willing to do saturday if it looks like we can get ahead of the rain?
