honda cylinder stud removal help/questions

I made a really stupid mistake, mixed up the nm column with ftlb column in my manual and snapped off one of the short cylinder studs on my 1980 xl500. I've also over torqued the four long studs by 27%. I don't know how badly I've stretch the threads but I'm pretty sure they should be replaced. My manual doesn't have any info the cylinder studs. Are they do they have locktite? Any tips? I've always double nutted studs in the past when installing put removing, should I invest in a stud installer/remover tool?
