Mudguts,
Where did you get the Alberto kit? I looked all through the website and can't find a store section or anything with prices.

Thanks.

Beautiful bike by the way.

Just installed the Rally Raid tanks over the weekend. That was a bitch. Seems there was just a few images missing from the instructions. WTF. Don't they know who they are dealing with? Did they not read my moniker? I'm mechanically inept....but I managed to install it OK. I hope.. I took lots of pics if anyone wants the play by play installation. Now off for a ride next weekend to see just how far I can go.

I did find that the boot had come loose from the FI. Seems landing hard on the seat tends to pop off it off. Something to consider fellas. Especially after I read about seats cracking over on KTM690 WUNDERFEST. If you seat is cracking from landing too hard, what do ya think the airbox is doing with all us fat asses landing so hard? Have you looked at yours lately?

Also decided the fuel line was too exposed so I added this little addition.

We see the fuel line at the bottom of your right tank. Near the right peg and clutch cover. I hope you'll secure it better then that ???? Way too exposed.

route the fuel line inside of the frame :) saves you a big spill at some time.

The design of the Rally Raid does not allow for rerouting of the fuel line to the pump without a complete redesign of the baseplate fitting. I would assume those fellas did some fairly grueling testing in the Dakar before putting their reputation on the line.....but there's still that outside possibility of an amateur like me falling and snagging that fuel line.
