I thought it was a lttle dul so on with the stickers ,

When i have finished painting the tanks I will follow the orange down on to the tank follow the same lines and then some stone gaurd black angled on the front bottom of the tank.

Looks awesome mate of this means you'll be slowing down now so Ill be able to catch you. Youll be so nervous in the bush because youre bike will be so pretty you wont want to scratch it

oooh errr... I am liking this. Was close to pulling the trigger on one like this myself a few months ago. Now I get the fun of the build without the risk

Mudguts, are you going to stick with the high fender, or go the full rally look? (Lukas, your two RR pics have one of each fender)

I will have both I perfer the low gaurd but what happens in mudd situations

I don't like the look of the stock stanadard 09 fender so I get the 08 fender & a low gaurd

If you get the low guard and fab your own brackets, you can place it a bit higher than on the LC8. Just watch for clearance to the lower triple at full compression.

If you are going with the MecaSystem brackets, check if they fit the 990 fender which has a bit more clearance than the 950 one. AFAIK the mounting points are slightly different though. You can even get it in white from KTM....

I;ll use a Lc8 one I have one at work , I will make my own Nav brackets Mecca are nice but $$$$ and i can make it for $50 I have some carbon tube for the spaces just to make trick sick of working 6 days week i don't get the time i need to move this project along


only two more coates of paint on the tanks and there finished ready for the mounting process
