Let me clarify that.

Dottori front tanks and fairing, same thing Mudguts is using:

Acerbis tank and Dottori fairing (fits the 450/530 EXC-R):

http://www.advrider.com/forums/attac...1&d=1271618615

Safari tank and Alberto fairing:

http://www.advrider.com/forums/attac...1&d=1271618970

Mecasystem aluminum tanks and fairing:

Rally Raid Products UK tanks and fairing (KTM Adv Lc8 lights and windshield):

Quite a few options for the 690 these days!

?

LukasM,

How does that Acerbis tank fit the 690? It looks like the one for the 450/530.

How confusing .... thats (a) an acerbis tank (for a 530) not a safari tank and (b) alberto's own fairing, not a mecasystem fairing.

But apart from that you're spot on!

To the best of my knowledge, Alberto does not sell MecaSystem stuff ... he does however, deal Safari products.

To make it more confusing for you, Rally Management Services don't make any of this stuff, but as Lukas pointed out, they retail most of them.

If you really want to get confused we can discuss the different products for the 690 by Rally Raid UK and Rally Raid Products UK, but I would rather read on Mudguts build story ...

Other good option is the mecca fairing and the rally-raid uk tanks, could be switched from rally to enduro in minutes.
it would have cleaner lines , the RRuk kit kinda sticks out on funny angles , doesn't flow IMO

that looks great.

i have a slight concern... will you be able to balance that battery there while you ride.

and... are you gonna put your race number on the front? is it req'd in oz for races.?

thats some serious glow back from the head lights might bring a cool backlit to the rally cockpit
you could channel it into you road book
or or or you could swing a mini disco ball off the back of your ico for a real dazzling effect.... to much??

a bit rough around the edges but as the bikes going to the next rally in a couple of days it'll have to do for now
