2013 F800 Stall Issue

I did a quick search on ADV for a related post on F800's stalling, found nothing, so I am starting this discussion.

My 2013 F800 will stall infrequently while down shifting as I am coming to a stop, it simply drops off. Restarting is not an issue, it fires right up on the touch of the starter button.

I am an old-school rider, learned on some pretty old bikes back in the day. I was taught, and what became a habit, to blip (rev a little bit) the throttle while down shifting, on the old two strokes, this kept things moving and eased the down shifting process in the tranny (Bultaco's and Montessas).

Does anyone have any experience with their F8GS's or other 800's, F650 Twins stalling while the clutch is in, downshifting towards a stop?

Plenty of threads on it in the Parrallel Universe

to cut to the basics, put some Techron in the gas, it should clear up

Many thanks...I bet I did not search that section of ADV correctly, something missing in the thought process...oh, yes, brain-cells! :P
