I installed my new ORANGE Evo slave unit. It looks cool and shifts way better. Did I mention that it looks cool?

Mine got a cleaner/better organized garage to be parked in... and it got washed.
Tomorrow's wrenching day (starting with fresh oil...)

I snapped off left side mirror again!. No more crap for me. I just ordered HDB crash bars withs mirrors. fix this problem once and for all.
Just finished:
SAS removal
HeadtoWind jetting kit
Pre-filter
Fully cleaned carbs and everything else when apart
Sync the carbs
Removed hose joining two gas tanks up top, and patched holes.
Installed Dirtinblood 2" bar risers ( wish i did this last year)
Re soldered wiring for PIAA's as I broke it loose while installing risers
Put on TKC 80 on spare rear rim and then swapped it onto bike.
A New Air Filter.

I think its time to rally the beast!

Qwik, As soon as I saw this I said 'Hey that's the six sisters!'. I grew up riding the merry-go-round in the field that is now the Mercantile and playing skee-ball in the Pizza My Heart building. sorry, wasnt my idea and I cant take credit for it. Its called the yellow-pig-mod, after the user "yellow pig". Its described in this thread from page 57 on. Measurements can be found in there.

The pegs are sweeet, and the rack is waaaay cooler looking than stock, but........

But y'all gotta check out the "ZipTy Racing" Billet Rack for the 990. But I DO wish it was Orange like CJ's

You just have to throw away the spacers it came with that make it sit level-ish like the stock rack does, and crank the bolts down anyway to get a lean that matches the bike's lean.
