Today I've done what will certainly be an all too common affair when it comes to this SE: Spent more hard-earned on the beast. New plastics (to replace the *expletive* painted ones), 690E windscreen, and a center stand (short, so I'll be adding a bit of length to it for Super Enduro service). All this and I purchased a GL GB bag last week. I consider all this purchasing just practice for the day I order up a Safari tank and various Black Dog necessities.

Just an FYI here so nobody gets their nose out of joint:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/announcement.php?f=34 Welcome to Orange Crush! Here's where we talk about 950/990 Adventures/Enduros. Please use Road Warriors for SM/Superduke/RC8 related gab. Please use Thumpers for all single cylinder gab.

Got it, somehow missed this originally. I'll be leaving now, taking my SM info back to Road Warriors.

Unless there is a specific technical issue that needs to be addressed in the Thumper section. I prefer KTMtalk for those discussions. ![]() That said- I let my big Orange rest today. Tomorrow I will be taking a grinder & welder to the Pannier rack so I can get clear access to my Aux tank cap.

This is my shop that houses my 950 Super Enduro, among other things (for example, '78 Champange Edition II in the one-year only Peach Red Metallic full resto project). In this shop I'll be working on my 950 SE today, doing stuff to it.

Waiting, waiting, waiting for parts. Replaced a couple missing bolts today. Good thing I did a stainless bolt switch over on a BMW a few bikes ago. Thus, I have plenty of spare socket head metric bolts. Hard-wired the Battery Tender Jr. cable with the plug at the rear of the seat (no need to remove the seat to have it on the tender). Then went for a short ride (real short, as you probably guessed given the tires). Will probably wire a Euro (BMW) acc plug in the dash and/or on the left side next. Here how it sits now and it has a long way to go before I'm satisfied.

Finally got around to putting the front tire back on after blowout on the last rideable day of fall. Garage was about 40*, nice 'n' toasty. Still have about a foot of snow on the ground and it snowed while I was out in the garage.
