After I stiffened the crash bars I did this:

Stronger wheels, akrapovics (off a super duke, see adapter fabrication below) and some matte black on some used front panels I bought to keep the originals safe from the trees, rocks, squirrels.

And then after all that it was time for testing.

well I would have thought anyone who owned a Busa would be ecstatic at the mileage you can get from the big KTM

If I am being easy on the throttle on the Busa I can get 38MPG. But I usually average about 22(LOL)

I like that adapter too and think he's welding space shuttles in his shed.

Qwik I think you misinterpreted my post I was referring to tire mileage as I own a 99 Busa as well [ greatest road bike on earth] that simply eats tires and makes the 990 look anorexic by comparison.

Crispy Designs. Nice! I've sent him multiple PM's to make a kit for my SE but he hasn't replied to any of them. Was he hard to get ahold of?

He has just been moving office so could be a bit busy at the moment. I found him pretty quick to reply when I contacted him but I used his email contact address on www.crispydesigns.co.uk

Added some blind/foothold from CJ Racer, top notch stuff as everyone already knows..

Got the Garmin mount added to the dash using a ram mount setup. Need to test for vibration but seems VERY solid.

Oh yeah removed these. I'm curios if anyone has used these for a jump??

Next up oil change, extra fuse capacity, heated grips, and pre filter. And if it EVER stops raining go for a ride. He'll I might anyways even if it doesn't. It's just not as fun but I guess I need to remember the word Adventure that's written on the side of the bike! ;)

My Busa tends to make almost everything anorexic. Then again My KTM wont smoke the tire at 60MPH either
