Cursed at it for the forks seals blowing out on my bike ride last weekend.

Pulled the suspension to send to James. Packaged it.

Cursed at it again when the fork oil leaked all over the box and ruined the packaging.

Packaged it again.

Cursed at it again when I saw the front hub cracked while removing the wheel bearings.

The common theme this week seems to be me cursing a lot at my bike.

Yesterday, got my Slavens fork revalve and new springs done.

Awesome, just like I knew it'd be.

RWC, Next time you are going to ship your forks, Go to Wally world or cabelas or some place that sells rifle cases. They are cheap, Easy to seal, and a safe secure way of packaging and shipping your fork legs

Shit DeeGee

...kinda like an old Land Rover, if its leakin' its livin', 'cause ya know there's oil in there.

If it makes you feel any better mine leaks like hell as well, I just save up quarters and wash the oil off.

That's a great idea. Wish I'd thought of that.

Packin' the ol' girl up

just finished loading up my trusty steed for the 600 mile bomb run out to the Overland Expo tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to the ride out or the ride back but in between is going to be great. I wish Renazco could have moved me up a month for my seat build because i foresee some serious baboon arse about this time tomorrow but of course it will be nothing a few beers cannot solve.
After the expo i'm headed to Sedona, Flagstaff etc and where ever the wind takes me. I need this ride, my head is going to pop and the big ADV is an anti head popping machine. Cheaper and more fun than a therapist but far more addictive to anti anxiety medicine.

Laugh

Hauled her 750 miles home (she's new) and stuck her in the garage...she's been whining every since I shut the door...waiting for some nice weather to get her out.
