Bike was delivered Friday night, couldn't even touch it Saturday & today I had to put the original exhausts back on. I have a registration inspection on Tuesday. Yet, I still can't legally ride it until registration....

I got my CPR air filter installed.
![]() I haven't had a chance to ride it yet. Started up and adjusted mixture screws some. It feels really crisp & strong. I'll keep my throttle wrist under control until a proper jetting kit comes out. FYI- That funny tool in storage is an old Swedish Husqvarna tool. Can't beat it for axle nuts on the big KTM.

You should leave that puppy on all the time (and running)... to discourage tailgaters

She got SO SLEEPY while I was taking a second run through some rough stuff out at IMI (Dacono, Colorado) with Geek, Hondo, Mouse, and friends (sorry, to the other 2 guys... forgot your ADV handles
![]() ![]() Great fun, Geek... thanks for inviting me out. Every day on dirt I get a little better... hopefully, I'll learn enough to stay out of trouble during the 2012 Dinosaur Run Memorial Day weekend.

changed the oil and checked the valves. being a half-assed mechanic it took me most of the day. It was a cool/damp day anyway so good to get it out of the way. Not near as complicated as I thought, specially using edvice from here!!

Installed my new to me Ortlieb bags. These have the GL2 system.
I did a wee bit of cutting off of material on the KTM panniers. This will allow the GL2 to work and I can still use the Gobi's when I want to. Fresh paint. Left side. ![]() Right side ![]() Bag installed ![]() The only mod I had to do to the bags was make the lower rails vertical. I installed a small screw, washer & nut to seal up the no longer used hole. Simple to reverse if these bags get passed on.

[QUOTE=Beema Killa;18572923]
VERY MINOR scratches on the lower tank guard and a few tiny scuffies on the right hard case mount is it. I let her down easy as I lost momentum coming over the double bubble ;-) Not spending a penny on crash bars... installing my new Safari tanks this week ![]() Besides, as Geek accurately put it today... it's a dirt bike; it looks better scratched and dirty. Chicks dig scars, right?

Do you mean to tell me that Touratech actually SHIPS their product? Who knew? I'm aware of the ordering and paying for the parts, just didn't realize that people actually receive them as well... there, that feels better. Note to self, phone/stalk parts guy tomorrow again, haven't done so since Saturday...
