Installed a BDCW skid plate, double take mirrors, gps mount and rear rack w/ pelican case. Then took her out to the Rubicon to "field test" everything.

Good skills!

Had me cringing when the bike fell over!

I bet you put more air pressure in the tyres after doing the puncture ;)

Thanks!

Yeah, when the bike fell over, I almost shat-my-pants! I tried to put the wheel in when she was laying down, but couldn't slide the axle all the way through. Also, the fall pushed the left break caliper up against the break mount so I couldn't fit the caliper on the the rotor. I ended up lifting the Dirty Dak up on the center stand and re-mounted the caliper on the mount. For a short while there I thought of calling the AMA towing service....

I put in 32 psi in the tire after the fix. The fix held up well while I was practicing the jumps. However, after a day of rest, the front tire lost all the air. I guess my tire patching skills are not that good

It's kinda cool to be able to ride around like this..... I'm loving my custom seat by El Kabong

I relocated the fuel pump in some newly acquired space thanks to the CPR air filter.

And finally ran a couple of circuits up to the front from my PC-8.....

Also added the lower temp sensor, vinegar flushed the cooling system and changed up to engine ice.

How can it be fun if there's not at least an outside chance of dying?

Just got my 2011 Adventure Dakar back from the 900 mile service.

Previous mods: Touratech GPS mount, KTM top box.

Last night's: Found the rev limiter , BDCW skid plate, Cycra pro-bends (SO glad I got these, though the stockers were sturdier until I took them off), battery tender pigtail routed up to left-hand side fant vent hole.

I love how she run over 6500rpm. Very nice!

Next stuff on my list is:

- KTM aux light kit
- heated grips
- side luggage racks

-gabe

Took my exhaust off to send to Craig for 2-1 mod to make room for his "liquid storage tank".
