No clutchy
Ordered an Evoluzione clutch slave and learned to ride with no clutch. Pretty easy. Funny thing is, while I was sitting on the side of the road fiddling with my clutch lever, a BMW 800GS cruised by. It was an orange one of course. Didn't stop to see if I needed help. WTF?

Ordered a Neduro 2-1 pipe, shipped my Staintune pipes off to their new owner and then reinstalled the OEM exhaust as a temporary fix to pass roadworthy test and until the 2-1 gets here.
Also picked up the 4 valve shims (2.40, 2x 2.45 and 2.70) I need to finish the clearances this weekend.

Ok, here goes :-)
It's my first time giving the bike an oil change myself (previous owner was dealer maintenance all the way). So I started to take off the left hand crash bars, fairing, tank, etc to change the oil... I'm got the tank almost off (those damn fuel hoses are hard to get off), when I think to myself "hang on, the filler cap is on the right, won't the oil reservoir drain plug be there too... I'm such an idiot". So I put EVERYTHING back, and proceed to take off the right tank... When taking off the fuel hose, I forget that I've opened the left hand fuel cock again, and get gasoline all over me... Sit the tank down, follow with my finger, from the filler cap, down, across the frame, all the way to the left hand tank... By now the bike is cold, I'd have to put everything back in order to run it to warm again, then take off the tank again... Sod this, I'm having a beer! I'll crack on again one of these evenings! Still, at least I know I can take the tanks off :-) JB

Oil change so far-
Plan A Off work Monday, do it then. Damn! The shop is closed on Monday and I need a filter. Ok.... Plan B Get filter on the way to work Tuesday morning and I have Wednesday til noon to work on it. Clutch slave went out gong into town. Limp it to work in first gear. Read about clutchless shifting on lunch break to get her home. Learn to drive with no clutch on the way home. Hell, thats EASY! Could have gone to get my filter and oil driving like this! Ok... Plan C Disassemble before work Wednesday, get filter and oil on the way to work, oil change Thursday, dont work til noon anyway. Read Buggles post about oil change. Oh yeah, it should be warm. Cant take her apart just yet. Ok... Plan D Get oil and filter today. Oil change tomorrow. Read the horror stories. Can I get it done for the first time in 5 hours? My Beemer riding husband must be giggling to himself. It broke again!? (of course the big weenie has had the dealer do his oil changes so far)

Camel toe or TT?
How bout homemade kick stand foot. 1/4" alum plate, 2-1/2 hole saw, 1/4 20 x 3/4 button head screw, drill & tap bottom of stand, and some 243. Couldn't find the flat SH bolt I wanted and improvised.

2nd look, inward mount gives you a little more bolt room.

Covered the scratches from the off I had in the Rally with a bit of touch up paint, replaced, bent clutch lever and fitted some Acerbis hand guards.
