I'm 6'4" and raising the bars that extra 2" has made big difference in comfort & control when standing.

Had a leaking shock so pulled it and the forks and sent them off to Race Tech. We'll see if it was worth it or not in a week or so.

Thought my clutch was toast. 2007 990 Adventure with 41,500 miles on the stock clutch, drive plates and friction plates.

Pulled it apart and found the bolt holding the inner clutch basket to be loose. I was able to turn it with my fingers almost a full turn to snug it up. Went ahead and checked all the plates and they were fine. Pulled out the impact driver and set the inner clutch basket bolt. Buttoned her back up and all is right in the world again!

Well, there's a culmination of things I've done for the past two months but today, I performed a Canisterectomy and I would have also done the SAS bypass but my plates aren't here yet so I'll pull it apart for that in th near future. To date however:
1- Leo Vince mufflers then replaced by Akrapovic mufflers
2- Euro Headlight with HID for the low beam
3- Piaa 510 lights mounted on crash bars
4- HDB top handlebar clamp with switches for lights, etc...
5- Akra map loaded (don't like it)
6- Secondary rad fan and duct installed
7- Jesse luggage
8- KTM tank bag with rear straps mounted under the seat instead of the crash bars (no rubbing against the tanks that way)
9- 2nd/3rd gear limit removed
10- Alpina 19/17 tubeless wheels with Conti Trail Attack IIs installed
11- Standard height KTM 990 sidestand installed (to get the bike on the right angle now that it's slightly lower from the 19/17 wheels)
12- KTM rear luggage rack and Renazco seat (from my previous 950ADV)
13- KTM orange crash bars (R does not come with crash bars)
14- KTM progressive throttle kit (yes, much less throttle snatchiness)
15- White and black hand guards (KTM)

There is an easier way
Get the Tuneecu cable, connect, disable the EPC by double clicking on it, you're done
