Bought it yesterday. Took it on some trails today and put a 100 miles on it.

Prepping for Colorado BDR

Sold some retirement funds early...oops. Added new SPS front/rear suspension re-valve, new front DID rim, wheel bearings all around, new Scorpion Rallys, new Earth X lithium battery from CJDesigns ( unbelievably light!). New Saenz windshield deflector on my -2.5 cutdown.

Waiting for brake line upgrade and high fender kit, then I think she's seriously ready to go ROCK SURFING!

Volt Meter

Anyone else sick of their buddy with a Garmin 276/376/476 rubbing it in that their GPS has a built in VM & yours doesn't?

Well, suck it!

I R&R the VRR w/ the Shindengen from Roadster Cycle (highly recommend over other options). Hopefully this digital meter is overkill now, but it's sure nice to see it glowing telling you all is ok.

BTW, tapping in to ACC2 up front shows a few tenths low on voltage due to crappy wire and voltage drop. So the next time the tank is off, I'll power it through the fuzeblock with good wire.

Nice VM - is that waterproof? I haven't tested mine in a rainstorm yet..

Vm

It is waterproof. BikeMeters claims that it is encapsulated in epoxy, so moisture & vibration shouldn't be an issue. Time will tell.

I almost put this LED volt meter on. It changes color based on voltage, but I figured the OCD in me wanted to know the #.

Having options is a good thing!
