New tag,

There is RD sitting in a crevice in that rock wall.....

Now covered up with a large branch and some stones.....

and the rock wall and branch from further back......

and further back...by the way that is one huge tree to the left of the branch where RD is hiding......

The road is just over 1 mile long and the rock wall is about1/2 mile long all along the right hand side of the road as you are coming in. This location is most of the way down the road.

Just before you get to the tree, there is a large drainage pipe that goes under the road.....

also if you were standing by the tree and looked on the opposite side of the road you can see an old white metal rusted shed off in the woods....

here is a pic of the view you get going back out the road....tree and wall are to the left of the bike in this pic.....

This is a 2 word road.

The first word would get you at least 62 points in Scrabble. The third letter is the first 3 point Scrabble letter and the last letter is the last 4 point Scrabble letter.

The second word is half of a singing duo known for rock and soul. The other half's name is a homophone for a Quaker cereal.

EDIT: Additional clue.

In the game of Scrabble, the only way you could get at least 62 points, (Meaning you could and probably would get more), is by getting a bonus of 50 points. How you get a bonus of 50 points in the game is by using all 7 of your letters at once. In this case you know that 2 of the 7 letters are worth 7 points,(3+4), therefore the other 5 letters must be worth 1 point apiece, ( 50+3+4+1+1+1+1+1= 62). A short google will tell you what the 3 and 4 point letters are and after that it's really pretty staightforward to figure out the 7 letter road name.

Not only did I get Bruced twice now...but within an hour of the grab...Today was a little wet out on the roads. Look at all the water in the ditch.

Beast, its all good. I ran 340 to 211 over the mountain and hit the Cafe in Lil Washington for lunch. Saw some old friends there, so all and all it was not a bad ride. Im a Rappahannock boy, so I got some hiding spots there.

Aj,
The little place just across the road from the Inn....I like that place if it's the same one you are talking about.

Thats the one! My sister used to waitress there. I was going there in high school when it was a sub and pizza place.

I've never been in that cafe. How many people does it seat? A potential M&G site?

I was introduced to a great new restaurant in Wardensville.
Headed west, it's on the left side of the street. Prices were okay and the food was outstanding. With prior arrangements, it could handle a crowd. Open Thursday through Monday. It's a micro brewery but they are still awaiting their brewery license.
Right now CRS has set in and I can't remember the name.

The old Mercantile is also open again and I understand that the food is good there too.

That may just work. I can't remember if you posted in the meet, greet, ride and eat thread but can you make it this Saturday to Elkton?

Are you talking about the one across and up the street a little from the Lone Star?

I noticed the Lone Star is open again too. Didn't see if it is still called Lone Star though.

Wardensville would be a great mid ride lunch stop!
