I bet they'd have sold a ton more of those if that's how they looked back then.

very cool. what is it?[/QUOTE]
Its one of these modern day Honda CB750s (not sure if avail in the US) dolled up to look like a mid 70's RCB1000 racer: ![]() Here's a webpage with "process" pictures: http://www.cb750cafe.jp/cb750cafe/flow.html For LimeyMike: You can probably get the fairings through Whitehouse, the outfit that makes the RCB replica. I tried to find it for sale on the WH website, no joy. Don't expect a bargain, the WH "Goose Replica" fairing is 250000 yen, so about 3025USD. This one is probably ab out the same.

more of that vf1000r.
HEY HONDA! STYLE THAT 1200 ON THESE LINES AND YOU WOULD HAVE A WINNER. THAT MEANS THAT PEOPLE WOULD LIKE IT AND BUY IT INSTEAD OF NOT BUYING IT, JUST FYI. Now I know the new 1200 is a fine machine and that people who own them love them. But it's not quite as sexy as this thing. ![]()

I like mine just the way it is, too.
![]() After all these years, it's still a plenty capable as a sportbike. More capable than I am, anyways, so there's not much point in modernizing it.

But the base motorcycle is not sold in the US so I'm not sure how difficult it would be to import the finished bike. I don't have the $29K+ anyway. limeymike screwed with this post 12-21-2010 at 02:05 PM |

it does have a bandit motor. in fact, that whole bike is handmade. the frame is aluminum even. Not really a spencer replica as much as a spencer themed custom streetfighter. It is way cool though.
