Yup, been there done that...

Each box is 9.2kg so that's about double an aluminum box. But at $20 a box... I'll take 'em - they won't bend out of shape, water tight and once painted something other than green, don't look to bad either.

The ones pictured on the bike are slightly lighter ( look like either 20mm or 50 cal boxes) than the ones he's got. The 40mm cannon boxes are to effn' heavy. That much weight constantly vibrating back there is asking to crack something..

I think I have the same boxes as the green ones above...

Inside measurements are:

19 x 44 x 36cm which is 30L

If you build everything right - there's not a vibration to be had!
