Haven't eaten there yet but McClards in Hot Springs is legendary. Got to go down there to eat there while the old man is still alive. When he was a kid he used to do deliveries for his dad to Al Capone's card games.
Clinton used to have it flown to the white house. You know he like a little meat on them bones, just look at his choice in women.

Being a food lover as much as a ADV lover, i thought it's only my duty to report 4 of the best places to eat in Arkansas. EVER.
1.- as previously mentioned, the Spudnut Shope. The one in El Dorado. I grew up there and was raised on them. Fried, makes them good. Magnolia's is good too. 10 out of 10 2.- Also an El Dorado best- Minute Man. On Main Street, close to NW Ave. Hours are whenever the hell they want to be open, but customers will wait patiently. 11 out of 10 3.- Since no one cares about El Dorado, Pizza Pro in Scotland, AR. It's part of the TAT and we showed up there right in time for lunch. Only to our surprise they have a kitchen in the back that served up homemade meatloaf, hand cut fried taters, cornbread, and beans. ~$6.50. 9 out of 10. Plus, they have a TAT sign in sheet you can read. Sorta neat. 4.- Phil's Restuarant, in the lobby of the Howard Johnson Hotel in Hot Springs. Intersection of Central and Grand Ave (hwy 70). Open til 2:00 and you can get breakfast there the whole time. HANDS DOWN BEST BREAKFAST FOOD. Wife loves their burgers, but i just cant get the breakfast out of my head. The portions are massive. Only server i've ever seen is Paul. He's great. Best waitor. Definitely 10 out of 10. You can find me there EVERY Sunday.
