I guess the arrival of riding season really has Rocketmoto hopping! I called yesterday morning AK time, probably early afternoon their time and had to leave a message - cool hold music though. Within about 30 minutes I received a call back and a super helpful and friendly lady patiently answered my questions and helped me choose a solo 302 set (speakers, wired mike). I should have gotten her name, but my excitement about getting the gear apparently overwhelmed my social graces.

When she found out I was hoping to use the gear for a trip this upcoming weekend, she made good on getting my order shipped the same day!! Turn around time between being on the phone and having the shipping confirmation was about 3 hours. On top of that, Adam e-mailed me back later in the day just checking up.

That is OUTSTANDING customer service!!

Placed the order for a dual set on wednesday, it was backordered. Got shipped on Friday with USPS express to France, arrived here today (Tuesday). That is outstanding!
I did get tagged by the french customs, 73euros. Ouch.

I will BT in my Blackberry and also want to BT in my Zune 120.

Can anyone recommend a BT transmitter that can transmit and charge at the same time, that won't break the bank?

I'm leaving for the Eastern Rendezvous tomorrow, and wouldn't you know it, my Sena headset refuses to turn on.

I was using it this morning, turned it off when I took off my helmet to go into the supermarket, and when I went back outside the thing was dead.

It charges appropriately but does not react when I push the buttons for power.

How long is the warranty on these things, and when in the heck did I buy 'em?

Oh, that's FUNNY. It looks like I bought them in early March of 2010, just before last year's Eastern Rendezvous. This year I"m going alone so it's not quite as crucial, although music on the way would have been nice.

Anyone have any experience talking to 2 buddies while on a group ride? If so, how do these units work? I'm thinking you are supposed to be able to talk 4 at a time, is this realistic?

We had a party of four on our trip last fall.
They work fantastic.
You can download the PDF manual,it shows the synching process.
I should clarify,you can talk to up to three other people in your group,one at a time.

Not sure where the Eastern Rendezvous is going to be, but if you're passin' thru or near southern New Hampshire, we can loan you one.

Luckily, the warranty is now two years, and this applies to any SMH10 purchased since January 2010. Best to call Sena support for the fastest response. Email's OK, but phone is way faster, 866.887.7362, option 2 -- California business hours. Dan is the support engineer, there. If they don't resolve this issue to your complete satisfaction, just let us know and we'll take care of it for you.

The tracking number given sends me to a 2 year old shipment, but I suppose either USPS recycles their tracking number or there's a typo - no worries, I'll keep you posted when I get the babies

Well, my new Sena SMH10 arrived today and it's FRIKKIN'
AWESOME!!
It does seem to have a little glitch where it doesn't fully connect to my
phone even though it shows
that it is but, a quick disconnect and reconnect and everything's fine.
The speakers sound pretty good with great volume especially on the phone!
I called a couple of people and talked to them for a while before asking
them what they thought I was doing
and nobody had a clue I was riding and couldn't tell even after I told them! I haven't tried the intercomm yet but, hopefully will over the weekend!
I had to use the adhesive mount but, I added some 3M VHB tape since my helmet (Lazer Revolution) had a bit of a recess at the top of the mount and the adhesive mount didn't quite contact it well. It does now! With the VHB, it's not going anywhere!
