Adam thanks very much for spending nearly 20 minutes on the phone with me reviewing the options and making some recommendations for which items to buy. I received the tracking information this afternoon and look forward to getting these in the mail.

Got my dual kit-- FAST! Thanks. Got it working with my iPhone and 2nd helmet. Now if I can just figure out how to pair it to my BMW 1200RT radio...???

Thanks again for the great deal!

FM radio? The best of my reading shows no FM radio on this unit. Is this correct? If so, what have users done/added to put an fm tuner into this? It's good to be able to tune a local station for traffic/talk as an alternative to mp3.

Thanks.

I use an app on my adnroid called "Tune In" it's like Pandora, but you can select local stations to listen to. Just be plugged in as it will kill your battery quickly.

+1 for Tune In Radio.

I can search for a program or artist, station - whatever, and 'tune in' to an audio stream, and it doesn't matter where the station is. Also permits recording of streams. Pretty slick - especially for $2.

Bluetooth mp3 player with a FM tuner (pretty much any that aren't made by apple). if you're in an urban area reception should be plenty good, if not you'll proly have to plug in some headphones (the wire acts as the antenna). my bluetooth still streams with headphones plugged in.

"tune in" works great too but if you don't have an unlimited data plan you'll burn through your allotment pretty quick. i think 2 gigs will get you 20 hrs of radio. it searches radio stations by state and city, HD stations, and AM too. OO!! and i just discovered police and fire frequencies too.

Adam, the wife and I tried out our new headsets this afternoon that we got from my mom (from you). It's our first intercom system and we both are really liking the set up. My wife especially seems happy to be able to have some conversation. Thanks.
