Testing? Testing? (Tap Tap Tap) Is this thing on?
Hi. I'm MooseKiller... Long time lurker, first time poster.
OK, so not true. But it's been a while since I have posted here in Regionals. ![]() Long story short: Recovering well after playing target for the bumper of a wayward Hyundai, but still wrapping my head around riding again. I'll get back on two (three?) wheels again, but I think it will be a while before I do. So, the reason for this post: I have a 1996 BMW R1100GS with all the fixin's that I am considering putting on the market, and I am just testing the waters to see if anyone might be interested. I will go through all the goodies and post a detailed list of upgrades/tools/tires/etc. sometime in the near future... Feel to PM me with questions. ![]() Ride safe!

Textile Waterproof DualSport Pants CHEAP! $50
I've got this very nice pair of Textile Dual Sport riding pants that has a bunch of great features and have been worn 1 riding season season. It is labeled as a 2XL but I'm 6'3" 220 and they fit me OK, just a tad bit short in the legs. I lost some weight over the winter and need a smaller waist now. The waist is around a 38-40 and they CAN be worn as overpants if you have a 36-38 waist. They are VERY WARM even without the lining installed. Here is the manufacturer's specs:
Motorcycle Pant Features: • Material : Duratex 600D • Lining: zip-out quilted lining • Night Vision reflective material in the front and back • Zippers built-in to connect jacket to the pant • Removable soft protectors in the hips and knees for protection • Nylon protective patches at knee : Adjustable Nylon waist straps : 2 zipper and velcro front pckets • Stretchable panel at knee and back • 8 " Zippered cuff openings I have more pictures if you want to see them. OR just stop by to try it on. I'm in Palmer Give me a PM, call or TEXT: 2 three to-five 9 six 7 ![]() ![]() ![]()

BMW R50 Outfit
I'm considering selling off my sidecar outfit- I have only ridden it twice this winter and not at all the winter before. It is ready to rumble, as the saying goes.... I just don't take it out for exercise anymore and it uses up a lot of shop space. I figured I'd toss it out to the inmates first and see if there is any interest.
The bike: -1957 R50 chassis w/ 1972 R75 engine and 4-speed (with Kickstart) -Engine upgraded to R90 spec- R90 jugs and pistons, larger intake valves, carbs set to 900cc jet specs. -later /7 charging system 20W vs 12W from stock /5 -Boyer ignition. -Hoske fuel tank. -Heated grips and power outlet utilizing factory socket. -Custom swingarm/final drive to handle the added power of the 900cc engine: uses /5 final drive and wheel. -Summer and winter tires, all in good shape. -Winter set-up includes hand covers and fairing The chair: -Velorex 562E, includes tonneau cover and canvas top. -Summer and studded tire. -Car battery located in recessed metal bin for ballast and to aid cold weather starting. -Velorex under-frame reinforced. -Sidecar brake activated by foot brake. Other extras: -Wixom bags -Some spares-everything from spare filters to frames, tanks and tin dependent upon haggling and interest. All this and mechanical support for a mere $12,000. Send me a PM if interested. More pics available upon request. Tim You too could go play in the snow... ![]() And a pic or two with the chair removed: ![]()
