Can you show a photo or two of the bottom of the topcases and how they mate up to the mounting plate?

Also, any projected availability dates on mounying systems for the new water cooled GS?

Hi;

You can find images under : http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=859924&page=6

Top Case bracket for the new R1200GS is in design process and can be ordered in a few weeks. Side case system with cutout is also on the way. Release date for that will be cleared soon.

Best Regards

Yes, sure...!

But this will be possible by the next installation. The blue bike in the photos has departed to the dolomites for 3 weeks.

When will the panniers be available here in the states? I'd love to have a set on my bike ASAP. Also, you only mentioned the one size? Is the cutout available in all sizes or only the 45s pictured?

Oh, and price?

For US and Nord America, please contact MotorCycle Insight LLC Mr. Robert Werksman. He will inform you very well.

The pictured set is 2x45L with cuted out right side.

A smaller set ( 2x35L ) can be taken in programm. It is about the demand. We will check just the trend.

If produced the total width will be apporx. 90cm.

Best Regards.

Selim

Thanks. I've already been in contact with him.

As for the 35s, I would much prefer those over the 45s. As soon as I'm able to order I'd like to do so, but if you're saying you will be waiting on those sizes I may wait too. You should just offer both sizes at introduction. Not everyone wants a wide rear end. The whole point of the exhaust cutout is minimizing width anyway. I'm sure both sizes will sell well.

Exactly, I only have interest in the 35L set with a cutout.

Considering the bags are already in production, and the cutout is identical on any size bag, the option of offering all sizes with the exhaust cutout seems like a no brainer.

Sparc, it would make no sense to offer just the 45s and there certainly would be no concern of not selling those made. Further, it's not like there is a warehouse full of product your sitting on here. Every bag you make is being sold before they are even built so there really is no loss on your companies part to offer the various sizes.

Hi;

We are finalising at the moment the construction of the 2x35L cutout.

We will announce as soon as the 3D images finishes.

Best Regards

While technically it's not a big deal, there is an impact to importers such as myself. Each additional product constructed is an additional line item or two that i need to bring in. Knowing how much capital I want to invest in each order means that we're not as deep in other products. It's a fine line trying to balance out everything, especially considering that the end goal is for us to have bags in stock, all the time, which we can't seem to get to.

That said, I love the idea of the 35L kits, and I hope they are available soon. :) Also, any feedback about preferred color for these would be quite helpful!
