Little chilly this morning but here I am in Horry county picking up the "Court House" tag. The City is Conway and is usually just a pass through for me going to Myrtle.

KC's isn't open but J&J's has fresh breakfast and coffee.

Good man braving the cold. My feet are still numb and I was only out for an hour.

I'm trying to come out with another thing to do when I'm out that way, visit a state park or something.

grab

Since I had to go work in Georgetown for a couple of days, I figured I would save this lonely tag of Gimpy's

New Tag

This new tag is somewhat, ok, a lot closer to the coast. The church was used until 1974 until it started getting too run down and the diocese opted not to try and restore it. A friend of mine used to go there when it was complete and even got some of the original brick when it was partially destroyed. Not bad for a building from 1734. Combine the name of the diminutive singer/musician who once had an unpronounceable symbol for his name and a fellow who has a lingerie shop in Hollywood, Ca named after him, and you might stumble upon this original gem.

Nice grab, that poor tag was getting lonely out there.

1876 is the completion date. 1734 is related but I don't want to give too much away. Sorry to nit pick!

I'll race someone out to this one. I always like visiting this area.

I'm chained down until 5 by then I think the rain will arrive. I need to go for a good long ride this weekend maybe I can grab this one if it remains unmolested. I'm thinking of maybe checking out Carolina Beach State Park up by Wilmington. Anybody been there? Is it worth checking out?
