Help Requested : Anyone have a SeatConcepts seat in Asheville/WNC area ?

I am trying to decide which cover material to get on the seat for my Super Sherpa.
With the reports I have read on the gripper material, I have seen everything from "great" to "it chews my butt up".

Also the same ,all over the map reports on the slipperiness of the carbon and embossed vinyl materials.

Getting to see any of these in person would be a great help.

I will ride anywhere in WNC to check out your seat ;)

Thanks !

Way down here in Charleston, but I like my SC seat with the carbon weave material, nice enough grip without being too aggressive. I would smear some silicone sealant on the inside seams, they seem to soak up water. Since I ordered the complete seat, wasnt an option for me.

Had it for a few years now, tough and well made.

Oh, and I always ride in jeans, not sure how the carbon material interacts with Power Ranger suits!

I've got the gripper cover on my GSA, just on the top panel. Works great but it does keep you from sliding around. I like it much better than the stocker and the seargent that I have. I'm always up for a ride and might be heading out your way for the Fourth.

I have one on a DR650. Carried me well through South America. Highly recommend. I am in Black Mountain.
