Hey, Scott. Have you dried out from the Eastern Rendezvous?

Go grab that tag. Keep the game alive.

Chris

Go forth and grab!

Yes. Please. Go and get my Midlands tag. I'll even give you another clue if you need it. Let's keep the game going.

wholly crap

Hey thar. I see another player from the peedee here. I will have to get back in the swing of things around here. Life has been pretty busy with vacation and the painful workload that precedes and follows vacation.

It is good to see another person from the area. If you know where this one is let's let the others hunt it up. They need it. They have been ignoring this side of the state long enough.

Good Job JALnSC!!! It's good to have new blood in the game.

I'm looking forward to finding your new tag and BTW, I am old enough to remember when those jets were still flying. Friday, 6:56 AM

I will try to resist and let it stand a while. I do know exactly where it is though. (And I have a file-tag that really needs to be used.)

So here it is...

T-33 @ Dovesville, SC - Darlington County Jet-Port

I was at a machine shop about a mile away from this tag this afternoon to talk about a job. I decided to stop by for a photo just in case the tag was still sitting. As I pulled up there were two guys there sitting in chairs by the plane. I jumped off the bike and asked if I could take a picture. (I was thinking they were airport employees.) Turns out that Frankie and his dad Frank were there restoring this airplane as Frankie's Eagle Scout project. I thought wow this is really cool and stayed with them for about an hour as they polished by hand. They told me all kinds of interesting history about this plane. I don't really remember any of it, but Frankie promised to email me all the details. Really nice guys and fun tag visit.

Fankie took me into the terminal to show me an article that was in the Shaw AFB paper...

New Tag

Now this is funny! A few weeks ago i was out riding with some buddies and as an afterthought stopped at a roadside marker to get a file photo for future tags. I didn't know what the marker was for. I hope you laugh as much as I did when I pulled over and read the marker.

Now for the text. I hope you can read it on here....

Thank you all for this game. I love it!!!

-Chris
