A friend and I rode what might be a lake with too many ee's and I had no reception. So we stopped at about 4 similar locations, but none matched. We were on the west side though and it was a wonderful day trip. Maybe next weekend, because I'm sure of the location, just ran outta time on the way down the east side.

So who's gonna grab it this week?

Can't believe I lived in Columbuia for 14-1/2 years and never ran into this thread, or any of you guys.

There was a fellow named Gus with a Silver KTM 950 Adventure I ran into a few times at La Fiesta

rode out Old Charleston Hwy & up to Sand Mtn down by the Calhoun Cty line most of the time, pity there weren't more FF's out there to play with

Up here in the mountains things are a lot different, steep inclines w/rocks aren't the same as sand

Biding my time.

I've got two tags already, so I think I'll hang back for a while and see which one of you adventurers gets this one.

Good luck and enjoy the ride.

KLR Sam,

I have yet to visit the west side of the lake. Maybe I will head out that way this weekend. Any choice locations for grub?

I haven't stopped anywhere in the area, so if you find some good grub, lemme know! Once a grab is posted (if I don't get it), I'll post some really good route info in the area.

Grab!

Lake Watereeeeeeeee White Oak Creek Access Area launching ramp off SC 97.
No eats in sight until Camden. Unfortunately lots of closed up businesses on this side of the lake but 97 here is a nice, quiet ride, at least on the weekdays!

New Tag

Apologize as it's not that interesting, but had to get something on my limited visits to the Midlands. This tag is located (somewhere) along the same route as the last tag. Guess you'll just have to ride the entire length! Do so safely!

Looks like you've been a busy boy today. I'm going to wear out my congrabulationator.

345 miles and a sore left rear cheek but well worth it. Two grabs and a Bruce. Who could ask for more! A beautiful day and countryside. Glad to be alive.....
