I was thinking the same thing. It sucks not having a center stand as well. My luck the bike will be taking a nap when I pull back into the garage.

Bandy and I are going to be out riding tomorrow. Probably meet downtown Columbia around 11:30am or so and ride until....
Shoot me a PM if anyone is interested. Probably mostly street and the occasional dirt/gravel road cause we will be 2 up. Also, Bandy has to do a valve check and throttle body balance between now and then. If he doesn't make it, I'll still be out grabbing tags.

World's Largest Fire Hydrant note;

But it's the largest of three contenders for the largest hydrant title. It stands in the AgFirst Farm Credit Bank parking lot, near Palmetto Medical Center. Artist Blue Sky's "Busted Plug Plaza," with it's enormous leaning fire hydrant fountain, was officially unveiled to the city of Columbia on February 18, 2001. There was a piece on the news about moving this fire hydrant last week. You can go online and place your vote for it's new location.  It is nowhere near the fire department on Main Street. Just saying! It's about time someone went after this tag!

You are so right.. I started riding at 9am in the weather from NC to SC. My google results mentioned something about water dept. oops!
I first heard about this Hydrant on the adv forum. But the next morning I started yelling at the news on TV. The wife thought I was crazy. I showed her the tag and I got the eye roll. |
