Not a grab,

Sorry Gimpy, but you grabbed the wrong statue. You'll have to keep looking to find it.
Go west young man. Don't you hate it when that happens.

Statues?

There might be 701 statues, but I know of only two.

Just jumped on the net to look at your post. Now I see the white base on the statue. Blast, maybe tomorrow.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_...rican_Doughboy

"The statue depicts a doughboy walking through shattered tree stumps strung with barbed wire, his rifle in his left hand and his right hand held high above his head, clutching a hand grenade. The aggressive design and affordability of the statue made it extremely popular, and more than 150 copies of it were created for municipal memorials across the nation. The Smithsonian American Art Museum currently lists 159 locations.[1] Of that number, 134 currently existing originals have been independently authenticated, and several have been identified as copies by other artists (notably Over the Top by John Paulding). Viquesney's actual brochures quoted a figure of over 300 by the late 1930s, claiming at least one in every state of the Union, but this is believed to be an inflated figure.[2"

Congrabulations !

Yes. That is the right one in West Columbia in front of the 701 Waley Art Center.
It takes real dedication to go all the way back for the tag like that.
Now I know how you get around the state so fast - you've got a rocket assist on the back of your bike.

I hope no one rear ends you. There's only one place that's going.

It was a great time today in Columbia. I rode around a bit and got a few file tags. For State, Midlands, Up, and Cayce. The farmers market was wonderful. I picked up some apple products from the apple farm people 3 miles form the York County Jail Apartments. I was great talking with them and I had to explain the game. They wanted me to go tag their orchard.

Stopped by rosewood market/deli for a bite to eat. That's a fun little place to include some cute hippy chicks. I will be back there with the wife. I couldn't find Rosewood Restorations, at least I didn't see a sign.

Cheers guys.. and gal!

New tag

With his new rocket-powered Beemer, Gimpy will probably have this one in a few hours.

The guy who built this house must have been a flake, because he named it Greenleaf Villa.
BTW. What is the SETOR? I'm not familiar with that forum.
Good luck and stay warm.
