See with this whole thing, even if I have to repair the bike - it will suck.... but I didnt get run over

Um, is that since the lawnmower incident?

Kinda hard to blame the other car even. It looked like the rider locked up the rear quite a bit. My Bike, and I think most others can WAY out-brake a car.

He absolutely should have been heading to the center. And it does sort of tick me off that he blames the bike instead of himself.

Here in WA, lanesplitting is of course illegal. I don't frikken care. At a red light I will always be pretty much on the line. I figure someone would have to not see me, AND be pretty much in the other lane to hit me. In addition, I'm not blending in with a truck or van in front of me. And hopefully I'd get a glancing blow instead of a truck sandwich.

On top of that, I have an incredibly obnoxious LED police strobe light. Getting rear ended sucks. Doesn't it AJ!

(Back to the OP) I gotta wonder what the blender driver was doing that he was so distracted as to rear-end you?

Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen those things going that fast, so even with the crappy brakes I have to imagine they have, and as heavy as they are, that must have been some serious texting or something.

I wouldnt be surprised. Im totally confident that if he wouldnt have hit me, he would have hit the cop.

It is along the lines of what I think when I see someone who has rear-ended a school bus.

A big, bright-yellow, flashing light, friggen MONSTER!

the end of the season in Post Production is INSANE. The stuff im working on today, airs on SUNDAY.

So, come in to work early, stay late and stuff like this gets back burnered real quick. I have had no time to deal with this....however I will be unemployed sooner or later for some time which will give me time to bug the hell out of everyone.

Anyways, from what they say the statute of limitations begins when they deny my claim. That's the only thing im nervous about.... if thats the case, im boned.

You are boned now...........They have deprived you of reasonable consideration for an entire year. Whatever happened to small claims court?

all the information I got was different. Apparently they make the filing process very tricky so that if you file in the wrong court or section it can make the case null and void.
It was a case against LA City Grounds and Maintenance (or something) therefore I needed to file at a certain office etc etc.

I just dont have the time to comb the sites to research it. I will in a few months. Till then im on 12+ hour days.
