Glad you are OK. I'd get the bike to a good dealer and make sure the city gets the bill, whatever it is.

My LT was creamed by a Kern County Rescue rig while parked off the pavement at an accident scene while I was directing traffic.
$8000.00 in damage.
Driver of the Rescue rig said good luck getting paid as County is "self insured" and denies all claims as a formality. Made me want to strangle him a second time.
I paid my $1000.00 deductable and let Progressive deal with the County.
Took a month for dealer to repair bike. Got my $1000 back from county in about 6 months amd assume Progressive got theirs as well.
