It should be a good series. I'm just particularly happy that there are no East Coast teams in it this year. If I see another story about the Yankees, Phillies, Mets or Red Sox I'm gonna puke.

I'm also doing a voodoo witch dance in hopes that Tim McCarver comes down with a nasty case of laryngitis.

If there's something on your screen you don't understand, the announcers don't either.

Otherwise, it's all stuff you can see. What the pitch was. The count. Where the ball's hit. Safe or out. Who's warming up in the pen. Fan made a great catch on a foul ball. etc. etc. etc.

Put some music on.

If I had TiVo I could do like a friend of mine does and match the game to the radio broadcast. The Giants have the best announcers in the biz, IMHO, and they do a much better job of calling a game.

except it's the radio that needs the delay, not the TV broadcast.
