p.s. the factory welded option cost me a little extra, but for me it was worth it .

Pilots Cases & Luggage Racks
Quote:
Any info on Pilot Cases with Luggage Racks and 2-up riding? Do the Racks crowd the back seat? Thanks

Not at all, the racks do not crowd passenger space, they just give the passenger yet another grab handle, in addition to the 2 grab handles on the Pilot cases.

Toasters
Those Micatecs look great. How do the black ones do in sun? They look like they'd get hot enough to just about cook anything put inside of em.

Micatech Update
V2 Pannier Price - Save nearly $200!
We are no longer selling the V2 panniers through a distributor so we're able to pass along a significant discount to our customers. V2's made and sold in our shop in New Hampshire. Give us a call, we'll set you up. ![]() ______________________________________ R100GS Replacement Luggage We can now put a set of our V2 side cases on your R100GS that feature the best quality materials and workmanship you'll find on the market. How do the SW Motech racks do offroad on a F800GS?
Do they hold up well in a crash? Do they hold the cases high enough? Thanks. |

V-Pilot Prototypes
Hi Guys,
We've been busy in the shop working on some new projects. Here's some info and photo on the V-Pilots. We've combined the clean and rugged mounting system of the Pilots with the slim and slender lines of the V2 case. A lowered exhaust allows for a full left side box (no need for an exhaust cut out). These V-pilots will fit the BMW 1200GS, 1150GS, and 1100GS. We're working out a few kinks now and plan to have them ready for shipment in early 2011. Let us know what you think. 3/4 rear shot ![]() Panniers from the rear ![]() Hugs in nice and tight ![]() Side profile with the bag ![]() Side profile without the bag ![]() Exhaust coupler ![]() Exhaust hanger

Fun Bags
We get lots of feedback from riders and we really appreciate it - so keep it coming! We've heard time and time again about the desire for a low cost pannier. Metal fabrication is what we do here so we're looking into the idea. Here's the prototype Fun Bags. Testing is coming soon and pricing is in the works. Let us know what you think.
