#1 - an oil change costs $60 when you do it yourself and you have a reuseable oil filter.

#2 - You don't care about the cost of an oil change because evertime you ride it you have a hugh grin

#3 - When you get that look of confusion when you roll past someone on a dirtbike that sounds like a Ducati sport bike

When you order new tires, both for the dirt wheels and the supermoto wheels and you can't decide which ones you're going to mount up first. All you really know is that every piece of rubber in your garage is shot.

You know you're a 950SE rider when

You purchase a used one from a friend wanting to sell cheap, ride it once and sell your Dakar, ride it again and sell your 1200GS.
And the bad news is you once were a BMW dealer.

You spend more time and money on the 950 than your wife.

you take out the SUV keys when you have to change the LC8's tyres. cos the SOB stock scorpions need a 2ton SUV to break the bead (I couldn't use the side stand trick (which i normally do) cos i had removed both wheels already).

When you run your tanks as low as possible for an oil change and run out of fuel 100 yards from home AFTER the oil change......... Hmmmm, I THOUGHT the left tank was freakin light when I removed it.
Went for a nice ride afterward though..... nice little 115 mile oil warm up ride. All is A-OK.

When you park your bike in the sun and come out to find the left fuel tank is empty and the right fuel tank is full and overflowing all over the parking lot.

Happened to me twice today
