When you're cruising down the motorway at 75/80 mph and some cock starts tailgating you so you give it a handfull and pull away instantly

Thumb You know you are a 950 owner when

On a toll road down in Mexico, your friend on a fancy sport bike in front of you try to warn about the police car. And your bike is already going about 120mph...... and you think your friend is trying to see if your bike can actually catch up. and yes of course you squeeze more juice out of that orange beast and then pass your friend and the police on a pick up at about 135mph with flying knobs that hit the police guys on the helmet.

You know you're a 950 owner when…

When your touring bike and your trail bike and your everyday bike is the same bike (kind like James Bond showing up always wearing a tux)

You know you're a 950 ADV rider when....

You show up at your Sunday morning ride group (lotsa Harley's) and they look at the bike like it comes from another planet.

Conversation goes like this:

Q. Kind of a mountain goat innit?
A. Well, it will go pretty good in the dirt yeah, but I like it 'cause it doesn't wreck my back on the street; you know, the potholes, cracked pavement and stuff.

Q.Yeah, but it's not a cruiser!
A.Well, it will cruise pretty good at 80 plus....

Q.Those saddlebags look like military stuff.
A.Yeah they pop off in about 2 seconds, pretty handy really.

Q. How big's the motor?
A. 950cc twin

Q. Holy crap who makes it then?
A. KTM , made in Austria ......oh never mind, let's get going

When you get pulled over for dragging a peg around a corner but the cop lets you go because he can't believe you did it with those knobby tires.
