![]() Yum. Sure the pic is a Z1000SX, so I'd take a Ninja 1000 ABS with hardbags here in America... but I have a perfectly good V-Strom. Been following the Ninja 1000 thread & reviews, and the pics & videos have me drooling. Commuting, touring, track... D) All of the above, and love the looks. |

What bike do you want today?
A Sunbeam S7 Deluxe.
If it was a 4 cylinder it might be perfect.

Yeah, I don't like Guzzis in the least, and those are pretty rad.

You guys are slowly turning me on to the look of Moto Guzzi.
Still not sure if I would buy one, but at least I'm starting to like 'em. |

Rocked up to a showroom to check one out yesterday, same version as above. Much more impressive in the flesh than in pics. Finish seemed very nice. Less hefty than expected. With the seat set on "high", really speccy riding position, with a gentle lean onto the 'bars and very low-set 'pegs. And you'd never know that fuel tank held 32 Litres. Felt like you could do a tankful between stops (actual riding might tell different story, of course.

I am looking at replacing my FJR with a NTX...and the FJR is a fantastic touring mount.

The Touring version is really detuned from the factory, but a friend has an '08 and so far he has a dyno proven 70% power improvement with a 12% fuel economy loss with just pipes, air cleaners and tune. I have the Roadster version and it is great good fun.
