Really? A '80s bike for $10K. Didn't work for Kawi with the ZRX1100. Them old UJMs are just that, old!.Not reto or kool, because they were throw away bikes when new. Like old dirt bikes, they are better left to rust, or sit in a museum.

Why do you say it's an 80s bike? The looks are retro, but nothing else seems to be, except the lack of a radiator, though it is really oil cooled, not air.

I think it is gorgeous. Performance is better than any of the other retro bikes, with better suspension, brakes, more torque, more HP (compared to Guzzi V7, Bonneville, W650/800) and price is close. And a Honda CB has as good or better claim on authentic as most of the others.

Not a lot of sub-$10k bikes with 67lbs of torque, reliability, and good looks. Time will tell, but I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could. Red please.

Of course this thread is What bike do you want today, so since you don't like the CB1100, what bike do you want today?

Honda 919 please

I just bought a 2002 honda 919 with only a few miles. It has Olins suspension installed. This thing is so much fun! I'm in motorcycle heaven

It will pass as soon as you hit the rev limiter. That is my only annoyance with the NC. Low rev limit.

I haven't heard what redline is on the CBs yet. I heard peak power is 8.5k. We'll see.

My FZ6 doesn't even get out of bed until 6k and then has a cup of coffee around 8, snorts coke at 10 and passes out at 14.

I could use a little more balance.
