I've always thought these were great, beefy looking bikes. Just very tough looking. Love it.

By mine, I meant my "bike I want today." That's just a pic I found on Google.

Hmmm... No offense intended, and while I do agree with the sentiment in part, I'd say that those "douchebags" build what sells in today's market. They tried it with Buell and unfortunately the numbers just weren't there. We are just stuck with a market that is dominated by cruisers, and H-D's marketing folks are just responding to that market. And they do a damn fine job of sustaining that market trend too. I'd think that if market demand changed, then H-D would start following whatever was in demand. But for now, they are continuing to sell to the masses..

As for the MT-01. How many did Yamaha sell?

I do agree though, that it would make a very fun bike to ride on the street in the real world.

This one looks particularly enticing! Even if it is missing a few things...

A CBR1100XX owner (a fat pig in it's own right) that's a friend of mine once
had a ride on one of these and was "spent" after 50-60 miles on the open
road, the thing does not want to change direction, supposedly.

Then again, you can see people on YT riding them on track and kicking a$$.

It's probably a work-out, but DAMN, anyone who wouldn't want to try that
thing is nuts! Then again, anyone who owns one is also nuts.

Thx. Been quite a change from the R65. I'm really enjoying it so far.

+1 I love it! If they sold the MT01 here I"d buy one no matter what the cost.

I almost pulled the trigger on a Buell before they went under. They were great bikes.

Black n' Red was the way to go.

Shoulda done it. In the land of the infinite garage, I'd have mine back in a skinny minute.
