It'd be relatively cheap and easy to build one if that's what you want. Take an Iron, add the suspension mods like I did to my 48, flat bars, then add the little fairing that Ryca has forthcoming. I've seen a similar chin spoiler thingy somewhere too. Harley even sells the black header heat shields in their accessory catalog too.

Of course you'd still be stuck with an 883... But, there are solutions for that too... And then there's the choice of picking up a used Nightster and getting the 1200 straight away. Just a few accessory parts really...

I haven't looked in this thread for a while, but I'm not surprised by the bikes you all want. Just realized I have odd tastes in motorcycles is all.

I want this today.

Yes I know it's 20+ years old, and a far cry from modern tech, but I still want it.

Bud of mine had one just like it back in the 80's when I had it's 750cc big brother. Best I remember it was a pretty cool bike. Most likey still is if you can find a good example. Hell, if I ran across a nice one cheap I wouldn't mind one myself!

I have been itching for a PC800 all winter. Can't scratch it though.

If I still had every dollar I spent on motorbikes I would be a richer man but a poorer person.

Yeah, I want an early 90's Jap sportbike too. The 600R's were all over the place back in the day. Should be some left. The 750's are getting hard to find. 900 Ninjas are starting to bring some money.
Better get one today!

Sorry, the thumbnails aren't working for me....
The CR is coming to Mondello trackday tomorrow with me for it's first demo of how inept I am at riding an SM, but I can't really think of any bike I would rather have for my first outing on tarmac!

Hope you like...and if anyone else can throw up the pics, help a dude out!

Well at least I'm not the only one around here who likes odd ball old bikes. I know where one is that looks exactly like the one I posted but with stock pipes. And it's for sale. And the owner is a professional mechanic who meticulously maintains his bikes. And the price is good. And I want it.

I guess this is the part where I go buy it huh?

The beauty of this thread is that I can:

Lust,

Reminisce,

Learn,

and see bikes I'd never want, but appreciate the fact that somebody does, and not feel compelled to comment otherwise.

Keep 'em comin'!
