The one in the picture is a Honda engine.

Why a Bolt engine? Less complex, nice sound, nice aesthetic.
Four cams and 150hp in a package that doesn't have a fairing? Meh.

A bike like that with a nice vtwin exhaust note and 75-90 hp would be lots of fun to ride around and enjoy without much drama. Fit it with a carb and some long duration cams and it would make some sweet noise without being a handful.

It's actually a Honda VTR 1000 motor. There was a big write up ( Cycle World?) on the bike about 10 years ago. The guy was hoping to put them into production.
I think he even had legal rights to the name Vincent at the time too.

Ahh yes! The 2006 Husqvarna STR Concept Super Motard by Tamburini, powered by the 576cc engine then used in TE/SM 610. I sooooo wish Husky had brought that bike to market!

YEAH! Replace the clip-ons with a set of dirtbike bars, and that's something I could really like!

No, no, no! KTM has other bikes for dirt bars. This is a Cafe bike, pure, simple, and not to be messed with!
