because the yammi's cheaper, more powerful, they weigh nearly the same (arguing over 10 lbs is stupid) and has 26k mile valve services instead of the triumph's 12k. oh, and let's not forget that yammi dealers are practically everywhere compared to triumph dealers.

we could argue about styling all day, but styling is subjective. also, let's face it: you never see the bike when you're riding it.

Can we both want the same bike on the same day, or should I take the
1190 tomorrow?

If so, I'll take the CapoNord today.
Kkthnx.

I'm breaking my own rule about slagging on bikes in this thread, but...

I just saw the "red" version of the FZ-09, but it's "Your Father's Oldsmobile" burgundy.

Carry on.

Homina freaking hominahomina. That's tasty.

I just looked up the S40 (because I wondered if that was a badging thing with the TU250), and dayum what a transformation.

One of the attractions to me at lest is that other than a slight swing arm modification, it's all bolt on after removing something like 60lbs of stock stuff. The kit is $2500 plus your favorite paint job and donor motocycle.

Yeah, the payoff is grand. A neato single that can squirt around town and look retro, but if you need parts you don't have to know a secret handshake or give up weekends to swap meets.

I really GOTTA stop looking at that. I don't have the cash for the kit or the donor, or space to park it, but jeebs, that gives me sweaty gums.

Interesting take on an old bike, and right in line with what I'm liking today.
