I do love them. I ride slow bikes fast most of the time, so maybe I have a little whiskey throttle problem too.

I love those.
That's the Daeg. I had a ZRX until it was backed over in a parking garage. Too bad, because I finally had it set up the way I wanted. My current wants:

Guzzi - griso
R1100s.
R1150r
Tiger 955i
That monster dr650 in the flea market.
Yamaha fz9.
Cb1000rr
V strom
Superhawk 996
919
Early 90s Ducati 900ss
Sportster 883 or 1200
Buell - tube frame
Street triple

There are others. I'm not picky.

I'm not a cruiser guy, but Ive ridden one just because it's so beautiful. It was quite impressive. Sounds amazing, rides great, and loves to rev! Maybe in another 6-7 years....

Yeah, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that is one of the future classics of our time.

That bike will be sought after when you can't even buy gasoline anymore.

I had a few minutes to kill so I went into Zion Harley Davidson. I haven't been in a HD dealership since they killed Buell. In fact, I've been somewhat anti-Harley for a long time. The whole "Bad Ass Biker" image I've always just found to be sad and embarrassing. Want no part of it.

But..............What they've done to dress up the Sportster is cool. Specifically the Forty Eight. I have no idea what I would do with one....run around town, use it for my 10 minute commute? It's expensive for what it is, has no suspension, and a tiny gas tank. But, it's just a neat little bike, nice to sit on and look at. I could see myself buying one of those metalflake Bell 500 helmets and some mirrored cop glasses....... go all hipster.

I like the California custom more, but yeah - I am biased against cruisers and even I think it is a sexy machine.

This thread is therapy for people that aren't buying new bikes right now, stop crapping all over it!

Hey, Viva La Difference! But, to me, that's a look only it's mother could love!
Even that glamour shot doesn't help.

Maybe you're seeing the "inner" beauty.
