I was about to comment on those headlights but passed, until your comment.

Those headlight / front cowl assemblies on both the Street and Speed, could they be any uglier? Cool bikes, but I'd have to clean up that mess.

I saw both of those KTM's at the IMS and they are the same price.

10 large MSRP

I want an SP2. They have more appeal to me than the last bike i wanted a few months ago. The MV F3.

Still to test ride one and see if we gel.

Here's current list of entrants into the Thanantos' possible light tourer contest:

Wee-Strom
Versys
Bandit 1200/1250
BMW R1100/1150R
Tiger 955i/1050

The Tiger 1050 is currently the front runner, but it changes daily.

It would wonderful to climb on any bike and ride at this point. 14 below 0 can't last forever.

I wanted one of these (last gen CBR 1000 RR) - but it would be too frustrating to ride it on the roads:

Got an F4i instead:

As long as weight were correspondingly less, compared to their big brothers.

Every time I visit my local dealer, I go look at the Aprilias and fawn all over the Dorsoduro 750. But I have to admit that the Mana GT is more and more attractive to me every time I look at it and sit on it. Not just for the transmission. I love the ergos, the fairing, the big storage bin in the fake tank and the whole feel of it. It's tough to admit, but even though it's really just a big scooter engine, it would fit the kind of riding I do nowadays a whole lot more than a supermoto. I would love to test-ride one.
