There have been 3 or 4 converted like this. The first couple were done by Doc's Chops, and since then other folks have copied it. Here's a guy that did one:

Lately, I've been considering one of these. May test ride one tomorrow.

The last few days I've been dreaming about this:

However reading all the small problems people have been having with it ( cold start issues, fit\finish & software not quite up to par) has the practical side of my brain telling me no.

Isn't that what the owners of POS's refer to as CHARACTER?

I'm leaning towards a NC700X. I want something upright and reliable. With a full set of factory luggage it would be perfect girl me.

Hoping to find something used, low mileage and around $6k ish in the next couple months.

Waiting on the 2014 V-Strom DL1000s to start selling so I can find a 2010-13 at an affordable price.

I've heard it's known as "soul".

I've tested the 1190 AR, but I just see myself getting into more trouble than anything.

Today: Yamaha Super Tenere. Simple, reliable, comfortable, reliable, big enough for me (6'5"), reliable, and overall more impressive than I originally thought it would be. Oh, and reliable.
