If you look closely there is a very thin pad on the carbon fiber base.

Oh, and there is nothing Harley about it.
A Ducati is more like a Harley than the Guzzi, though it isn't at all either. Maybe V twins confuse you.
Just a joke, but at least Ducs are fast. I like fast, reliable, and reasonably priced V-twins!

As far as I know the stock parts, although this bike has the factory racing exhaust and racing ECU.

The "seat" on the Buell reminds me of the time I rode my Skorpion Sport on group dinner ride and a BMW rider pointed at it and said , "Looks like someone stole your seat and left you that. "

Take that gorgeous beast to the back roads between Prineville OR and Pendleton this spring. You probably know this already living in OR, but if not be prepared for erections lasting more than 3 hours.

Wish comes true.

I've been worried. My beloved GSX 650F is nearly 6 years old now & I usually trade in at somewhere around 8 years. Suzuki won't sell them here in the USA anymore. I'm a fan of the japanese I-4 , & I'd love another one just like my current 650. That is to say, sporty, rather than super sport, performance, faired, & with ergs closer to standard than track day. 600 - 800 cc is my sweet spot. The GSX 650F was absolutely spot on for me. ABS is all I would add to this do-it-all bike, there's nothing quite like it in the US…until yesterday! The Honda CBR 650F is bound for our shores! It's very similar to the Suzuki, 85+ HP, I-4, standard ergs with a sport bike look. It's also got ABS, stainless pipes, Honda fit & finish, & 30-40 less pounds. 2016 comes & I'm at the Honda dealer with a check in hand!
