Will it go off road, sure, but then so will my VFR if I really wanted to. I can suspend disbelief for the later model GSs for some reason, but not this one. I don't know why I am harder on this than other adventure styled bikes. Great color combo though!
What an awesome looking bike...It is drop dead gorgeous!

In actuality tho I think i would buy a big Suzuki GSX1250FA with luggage and then spend the other ten grand on the road. (and it wouldnt be spent on maintenance either)

Hey Chisenhallw, I have a bit of a soft spot for the Drifter 800, too. After they were discontinued, Kawasaki slapped something like an $800 or $1000 rebate on them, so they were dirt cheap compared to other middleweight cruisers. None of the dealers in my area had one, so I ended up going with a Suzuki S50 instead. As it is now, I doubt I will ever buy another cruiser, but I would have liked to ride one at least once. I thought they were well done.

Although whoever put the Indian running light on that one should be ashamed of themselves.

As usual I want something that probably don't exist.
A battle scooter that's a total sleeper. Something that looks like a Chinese pos, but will do a buck comfortably, and corner like wethepeople.
